DAMN... the coolest thing that ever happened at our auto shop was an outlaw falcon doing a burnout... the principal didn't like that too much. That is sick tho

jmood youre dumb, it takes a jet engine some time for the compressor of a turbojet/turbofan to spool and compress the air enough so you can create pressure and then ignite with fuel, fuel and compressed air meat in a "can" or "oven" in aeronautical terms pertaining turbines, then when the gas has burned it passes through turbine blades and stator vanes. go to an airport at night and see for yourself that all turbines have a little flame coming out of the tail pipe, turbo fans like almost all passenger jet aircraft dont have as much compared to turbojets like military aircraft or an old 737.

a little late ignition, crack pressure set too high as well. that downstream burning is going to kill the tubine. but I guess it just a toy anyhow.....

Firing a Solar T41-M9A Gas turbine at our school during Autoshop. it was absolutely DEAFENING even with earplugs, and actually shook a lot of the building. It could easily be heard across the school on the 3rd floor. Thanks to Mark Nye for bringing in one of his toys.
