Sure, just give the Viper 10 PSI and it's all good.

Of course no one wants to see that because it would be fair.

I want to see that viper go against a 2nd generation governor removed boosted m6 or a Porsche 997 boosted.

Out of the box with no mods or a few basic bolt on's. Any Generation 2 to 4 model Viper will run anywhere from flat 12's to mid 10's in the 1/4. Add some spray or an S/C and you have your 9's in the bag.Vipers come stock with 450,500 or 600HP depending what model you get. Turbos or S/C mods get them to the 1000 HP mark. Anyway the Evo was making more the 500 to the wheels with more boost to go so it's no slouch, but again he wanted the race so he got it...

Well i saw that thing on a dyno- so how much awhp was that evo able to run, what about that viper? I still can't get my head around some evo guy wanting to run a supercharged viper with out a built engine- boggles my mind. I was asking what THESE CARS run in the 1320, not what the quickest and fastest are of their respective makes.

Oh shit yeah a GT30 hahaha VS. a SC Viper. GT30's MAY get what you viper puts out stock. There's a huge difference. Displacment makes even more of a difference when it comes to boost because the more the engine displaces stock the more responsive it is to boos. I bet your car can easily put out 30-60hp per PSI. So honestly his car May make 500whp, yours comes stock with about 400rwhp. I'd say 22psi of that 27 is used just to make 400awhp which is what your makes in stock form. Also his TQ is probbly in the 300's your is what? 600's. Displacement makes an even bigger difference when it comes to turbos, they respond so much easier to forced induction!

Ahh... let me rephrase *mostly* engine size goes out the window when forced induction comes into play because the turbo makes up for the lack of volumetric displacement from running N/A. If both cars were stock, thats somewhat different but in this case there's manipulation on both sides. And for the other question, the Evo guy wanted to see what his car would do against a Viper running full tilt like he was. And I think he had a GT-30 sized turbo on there if I remember right. The current street car/IRS record is held by a GTS Viper running 7.52@189.

Do you know which turbo does the evo have exactly? But why would he suggest racing a supercharged viper, is he that cocky, did he just want to see how far he needs to go (real far)? Pretty viper and you may well know Im a super car fan and a viper for me at least, is a supercar. That v10 sounds amazing! BTW what do these cars do in the 1320? thanks for posting!

Engine size doesn't go out the window when your talking boosted because you still got an 8.0L motor on 6psi as opposed to that 2.0L that is trying to make up for your displacement with 27psi. The way your making it sound is that just because you put more boost in the evo that is makes everything even and it doesn't.
