i highly doubt it would beat a IX from a roll.i drove a evo IX the other day and im probably parting out my sti. the sti is easier to drive daily than the evo, but the evo IX seats are to die for. Mod for mod, the evo beats an sti. My buddy's IX has like 2000 worth of minor mods and he's pushing 348whp. you need a turbo upgrade to hit those numbers in an sti

My STi stock would whoop on that Evo IX. Besides STi have bigger engines, sound better, looks cooler, and mod for mod harder work means it's worth it.

Both cars are great, but the exhaust note on the STI is just awesome.
