Well the Zo6 pulled from that Porsche Turbo like a heavy modded Supra. Very impressive for a stock automobile. But the Porsche owns the curves.

Take them around a race track (a la Nurburgring) and the Porsche 911 Turbo will hand the Corvette Z06 it's a** like a little b*tch on a silver platter. So will the Porsche 911. GT3 Don't believe me?? Go check the Nurburgring lap times. The fastest C6 Z06 ran a 7:42 while the Porsche GT3 stock runs 7:38 - 7:39. The Porsche Turbo is about the same as the GT3 on the track. That POS American hunk of sh*t is good only for a straight line against a Porsche 911. I would take the Porsche over it anyday of the week.

1, no one cares how many cars you own rich boy
2. its not something to be proud of to own 5 cars when your 16 (especially if its your parents)

All my friends who've purchased Z06's have sold them, two have gone the Porsche route: never happier.

Are you kidding? Corvette's are poorly built & have exceedingly high maintenance: Porsche's are nearly maintenance free (all cars need oil changes).

There's a reason why Porsche is #1 in customer satisfaction over ALL other car manufacturers...damn well-built cars.

10.4 for the 1/4 in the veyron with no wheelspin and no room to make the wheels spin....That means every Veyron will run that (it's prgrammed in and if you remember correctly is kinda boring according to testers since you just mash the gas and go) . And yeah I said slightly slower...you have to have slicks and be really good at driving but it does have a fastest time of 10.85 in the 1/4. >45 seconds in the 1/4 isnt bad for it being 5% of the price of the Veyron. I never said it was better than a Veyron though I'd gladly take that over any other car...with that the Z06 is very impressive and i will be looking forward to the Z07 or "bluedevil" or whatever they are going to call it.

The porsche997 will always be nicer.. But with that being said, they do seem kind of bland, and I have seen several videos of Z06's and SRT10's opening up a can on these new 997's.

SLIGHTLY slow than a veyron?? LOL Yeah, OK.. If you mean the n-ring, do you really think they were attacking the track in the veyron? Give me a break. That veyron was being driven like a granny, because one slip up, that car cost 1.5 million. You can afford to attack the track in a z06 because if you slip up and wreck, you can buy 10 more. But if you make a mistake in a veyron, thats it. Which is why they were driving the veyron like a granny around the nring and it still beat the z06.

Coming from someone that owns a C6Z06 I'd take it over the 997 Turbo any day. The car is downright boring. However I've got to agree with Shinkaze that the GT3 is the best of the three. I'd even take a GT3 over a 430. Challenge Stradale is still king though.
