for that car.. the electric motor could work, for anything else though, no way, people dont wanna wait 12 hours to charge there batterys.. thats why the only electic motor that will be used in everyday cars, is the hydrogen powered motor.. but for a weekend car such as the Ariel the battery powered motor isnt a bad idea

I didn't think that I'd want an Ariel Atom more than I already do, but the electric version has me in deeper love. And folks... you can also get the Ariel with a supercharged Ecotec, just in case you want to, I dunno, support your country's economy just a bit. (assuming you live in the US)

yea this the first i've heard of an electric version, looks very real though - makes sense, thats a near perfect chassis! look for the top gear ariel test drive (same chassis with a s/c honda engine)
