This is footage of Bill McCornack driving a mid 1060's vintage dual engine racing kart at an event held at historic Sugar River Raceway, Brodhead, WI - July 16-18th, 2009. This is an annual vintage karting event called The Brodhead Historics. The video includes segment filmed at up to 600fps for an ultra slow motion effect, where the tires can be seen breaking loose and spinning under power >>> drifting magic! The McCulloch engines powering the kart, are each 125cc, modified and burn Methanol through their 35mm carbs, total power output is North of 45hp.
FYI - Sugar River Raceway is one of the older kart racing tracks in the US, in operation since the very early 60's. It was home to the karting Nationals in 1965, 1972, & 1981. Many of the best US kart drivers of previous decades have turned laps there, and vintage karters today find it a special experience.
