for the record, cummins' dont have glowplugs and never have. they use an intake grid heater when the air temp is below a certain temp but no glow plugs

somebody better tell all thse pulling diesels that rocket smoke 30ft in the air that they're tuned wrong

i agree to a point and i myself own a 500hp/1021tq dodge diesel. whenever you add more fuel for power in a diesel its gonna smoke but to object is to get enough air for that fuel so it will burn clean. when i take off in my truck it will lay a huge cloud of smoke if i just floor it, but if i slowly roll into the throttle and wait for the boost to build (i have a much larger aftermarket turbo) then there is no smoke once i reach full boost and WOT. its dang near impossible to build a high power diesel that doesnt smoke, but the ones that are tuned with the right turbo so they dont smoke anymore at WOT are the ones making the best use of their fuel instead of wasting it

that is coming from fuel, diesel has no plugs, only glowplugs, even those are being phased out. when you see black thick smoke like that, major smoke and power is coming from one of thsoe ,more fuel more power, more ar means even more fuel and power

I agree with Jk1212 about "I hope ur kiddin" b/c seriously u must not kno anyhting about a diesel, if u see a diesel smoke that bad that usually means u dont want none b/c there is some major work been done to that motor
