I've owned Fords and GM's, never having these kinds of problems or refusal to cover valid warranty claims either, I have talked with lots of others who concur.

Why on earth post a OLD story about a car that hasn't been manufactured in over 4 years? Think about it. What part of the brakes catches fire and why? It shouldn't be too hard for you to figure out and when you do, you can say: Wow! I just figured out how to easily correct a problem on a car that you RARELY see anymore. If you want to waste more time, produce a video of yourself performing the appropriate repairs so people that don't drive like they are on a racetrack to cause their brakes to catch fire. Sure I've seen Intrepid police cars. The last time was well over 2 years ago (and I travel a lot) because the cars have exceeded their useful service life for the departments. Two of my friends are cops AND motorheads and they NEVER mentioned any bs like this because it was a NON-ISSUE if it EVER happened! Time to work on something else that could actually be beneficial. BTW, you don't want to hear about my BIG issue with Ford, which cost me and thousands of other consumers & businesses between $3,000-$5,000 USD we shouldn't have had to spend.
