I suppose I should explain for those of you not familar with Subarus. What happens when you install a turbo timer on a Subaru with a factory security alarm, is that the vibrations from the idling vehicle will set off the shock sensor on the alarm. Most people, and what you will find in the "how to's" in forums is that they will cut the wire that goes to the shock sensor, thus losing that feature. What I have done is tricked the car into thinking a door is open while the car is turbo timing using a relay, and fliping the switch when it detects the ignition is off. This completely bypasses the alarm during the idling phase, and only arms when the car is completely off. HOWEVER, there is a side effect. The "door open" light is constantly on while driving the car, and I will work on fixing that problem this week. Look for the how to article at wrxtuners.com in the next few weeks. Jon
