How does he launch it that good? Is he bouncing it off the rev limiter and then slipping the clutch or somethin? he doesn't even spin the tires at all, just shoots right off

launch was pretty good.
realistically, the evo excels over the sti both in drag and track, but not by much.
when it comes to these 2 cars, its driver preferance.
if you're another one of those morons who think one is better than the other, then you obviously don't know much about cars period.
if you are going to use top gear to compare then that is a perfect example of preferance. look at the latest comparison of the evo vs sti. At the end both clarkson and hampster, knowing that the evo had better times and less understeer, they still chose the STI. that basically sums it up, PREFERENCE is the key.

sti and evo are pretty much equal

Just download an episode fo Top Gear or even Fifth Gear that features these two cars...where the drivers are PROFESSIONALS and the race is fair... the Evo beats the Sti in almost every race.
