look it up ford does own cummins they dont put it in their truck because before their acquisition of cummins dodge already had a contract in place til 2009 or 2010 which is why they were all peranoid and were going to use mercedes diesels however ford is going to be switching to cats and theres going to be a 4.2v8 diesel in the f150

ford never has and still does not own cummins, nor is there any plans of ford "buying" cummins in the near future.
