CobraSVT03: nah, I don't miss having a six speed.Roll races are where the manuals have the advantage and there are no sactioned roll races, so I'm good. Besides, the six speed auto gives enough ooomph when I want to manually shift and when it's in full auto, there's no clutch to worry with, no missed shifts, and it's very, very consistant .

Michelin PS2 tires gets me a consistant 1.8X 60ft, I ran the factory runflat tires forever and got a best of 1.87 ONCE, the rest were 1.9-2.0's. The runflats are bad in really cold weather too...they get really hard and won't grip for anything. For your 06, a good tune will give you alot for the $$ spent.

That's too funny. I just picked up an 06 3LT Z51 and am in the middle of buying a bolt on package from West Coast Corvettes. Now I definitely need to work on my launch!

thanks for the compliments....yeah, it's actually my daily driver. Great in all weather except for ice/snow. Bad thing is, after a few track days, I get jumpy at stop lights and go too much into the throttle when the green hits, lol.
