The iroc that I said was stock was spraying a 200 shot, sorry, I just found this out.

There SRT8's I have seen run low to high 13's. Beat an L98 3rd gen, but not destroy, especially for the price differance. Most guys I know with mostly stock 3rd gens run high 13 to low 14. Most SS's where I am at run high 12 to low 13 stock. They are nice cars, but they are just pigs. Like anything else though it can be modded to be a street terror. It is funny to me though when someone compares, at a minimum 16 year old technology to Dodges newest and best.

GREAT CARS

You can mod any car to be faster than another, but in pure, stock to stock comparo, the SRT8 Charger would kill the 3rd gen camaros/tas, and almost any C4 vettes.The Chargers' stock times are close to what the stock 4th gen SSs and TAs ran, with the Charger having more weight penalty and worse aerodynamics. The Charger is nothing to sneeze at for most cars unless they're well modded.

I love all cars. I think the SRT8's are awesome. I just cant stand the jerks that read a motor trend and say, wow its got 425hp, therefore it will outrun anything with less power. People need to get a clue, it takes more than horsepower to be fast. ChargerRTZ, sounds like maybe you found your correct combination. I wish you were around here, there arent any fast Dodges. F-bodies, and a few Mustangs, thats it.

I don't know why everyone is bashing the SRT8's. I own a 5.7 and destroy EVERYTHING =). srt8 killa, cobra killa,import killa, dodge 4 life =)

8secbusa, Maybe it was a fluke, but I seen a bone stock 350 tpi iroc with slicks spank one of these 3 times in a row in the 8th and it passed emissions too

the performance of the SRT8's mostly hype, they suck and often can be beat or matched with other rides with less HP. I've owned 3 different new Dodges, all sucked, the worst quality. Way happier with any GM's or Fords I've owned.

I have run one Charger SRT 8, and one 300c SRT8, beat them both. So no, they wont outrun this 82-92 Camaro.
