Sweet run Evilways like allways, I saw the (W) Light on your lane, If the weather permits i am going this friday (5/9/08) to see if i can get mine in the low 12's, and a friend of mine is going to have what they say are bad rides, a stang and a nova if it don't rain and your there i will look you up so i can meet you finaly and point them out to you so you can show them how it is done, again Killer Win.

The A6 trans are very different from the older trannies, especially with the stock gear ratios of 2.56. It's close to having an auto 4 speed with 4.10 gears as far as performance goes.

it will be hard to hit mid 10's with 450, but u never know, my friend put in auto tranny in his s/c 601whp c5 z06 and he went from 10.5 to 10.1 with a automatic built tranny, he droped the speed (141 to 136) but in 1/4 mile is way better..

with some sticky drag radials, the vette should hit 10's , and with a 3000-3200 stall converter, added to those drag radials, the car "should" be in the mid to low 10's, but thats all should and could, so until I actually hit those numbers, I don't talk about them. Good luck with your set up.

like i said, u can even compare cobras and corvettes, vettes has better quality, that.s why i said that to race (money-performance) cobra is more reliable, 600$ cia, pulley and programer, 800$ full exhaust and 700$ stg5 ported and polish eaton, total 2100= 561whp 11.1 at 124 with stock cluth, stock suspention and tires, with tires, suspention and cluth, (about 1000$ more) i.m sure i'll be running about 10.6-10-8 at 128+ without hearting my engine....

if it's a money to performance ratio, then it's only fair to compare stock naturally aspirated mustangs to corvettes, then mod and see which has the better performance gain for the $$.Cobras start out with a blower, and a cheap-o pully swap/ kb swap, porting, or otherwise will of course add performance. A $300. dyno tune will give a C6 almost 1/2 a second in the 1/4 mile, if the driver can control the car without TM and TC.

look, i own i cobra, but a now that vettes are better, in my group there's more vettes that cobras 3 c5 z06, 2 c6 z06 and 2 c5, and all of them run 11.s and 10.s but some of then with a lot of money into it, handling, driving, confort, vettes are way better, but for money-performance and drag racing cobra is better....
