Let the Vette really show the Germans,Italians,and Japanese what we can do....it's been around 55 years competing(and winning)against all of them....it's in a class of its own...all other American muscle(Mustang,Camaro,Firebird,Viper)just have not been around long enough to prove a true pedigree....but let ALL our cars show the snobs what WE can do!!!! No matter what we drive,ok??

obvously the z06 is going to win... 600 pounds lighter and 115 more horse power, plus the z06 is way more aero dynamic. however i truly think that a cobra can hack alot more power on a stock black then the z06 can because of its thin cylinder walls. compression on that z06 is 11:1.

2yellow03, I don't claim to know more than you, but that doesn't add up in my head. Z06 = 505 hp stock, ~3150 lbs. Your Cobra = 520 hp, 3665 lbs. A Z06 with CAI and exhaust is going to have 530 hp *at least*. You sure you don't have more power than you think?

I have a pullied cobra w/ 520hp(465rwhp), pulley and exhaust and my buddy has a 08 zo6, might I add is a magnificent machine, but I walk his car every time. He has a cold ait kit and full exhaust. Props to the vette from a ford man.

I understand zo6 is a much better car from chevy, but the mustang will always be there to make it a better car. If it wasn't for the mustang cobra, zo6 would never run that fast. The faster the mustang going to be he harder zo6 has to try.
