wow as i read i keep adding, the ford gt and z06 are the real comparison! and are remarkably even matched. its totally a drivers race. and z06 is coming out with a twin screw supercharged version, gtx1 is fords new deal, its a lowered tuned gt without a roof and making 700hp - i wanna see that race!

oh and btw the real comparision here would be a stage 3 rousch vs z06. the cobra has stock suspension and is set up (if you could call it that) for drag racing. the rousch has racing suspension and is made for twisties (like z06) although it's slightly slower in the 1/4 than the cobra

lol you stang guys are some mean mofos. i'm a car guy who likes both. very nice cars, the vette is sexier though. and will beat a stock cobra (- the new 500hp version...i think)

you gm guys are soooooooooo stupid! your so quick to say if the vett had a blower or the stang needs a blower to be fast. THE Z06 HAS 427CI!!!!!!!!!! STOP CRYING!!! not to say it weights 3200lbs vs 3750 or 3900, you guys really need to get over it. and by the way, cobra was pullin him the whole way.
