just cause the cobalt is amarican people think it cant win a race. i own a supercharged cobalt and if u do a freeway run with a STI it combs close every time cuz the ss is a top end car the 300 hp on the sti dont mean s**t u guys dont know notin till u drive a cobalt thay are fast as f**k. and thay are not governed

my basic bolt-on SHO killed a WRX from a roll many times... (click my name to see the video) sure add a few turbo mods and it will be the other way around...

but my cobalt ss is faster than my sho which is faster than a wrx impreza

02-05 wrx are identical powertrain wise
03 1/2+ gears were widened to RA width
06 is 2.5L with the previous turbo (td04-13t), on less boost

and thats not a race. thats applying pressure to your foot and shifting gears. lets see stock for stock SS vs WRX in the rain with some turns

^TRUE that was like an old wrx my friend got a 06 it puts out like 230 or more hp im not that sure. the 03-04 are slower.and well it does seem pretty impossible for a cobalt to beat it on take off but this was on a roll...anything can happen..plus the sti and the wrx top end kinda suck honestly thats how i feel that the evo is better but that my opinion
