I've driven both. Vette is very fast, Porche is a touch quicker. I'll take 1 of each...

I bet Turbo 50HO and Fusiontech would change there minds after taking a test drive of both cars. I have yet to drive either of these cars but if I had to pick, def be the porsche. Classier, way better interior, and way better resale value. Im not gonna lie for the money the corvette is awesome. But with speed being the only upside to your arguement, which isnt very much, I would still take the porsche all day of the week

Are you guys forgetting that the Turbos have a natural advantage from a dig due to the AWD and with the added weight over the rear tires? Anyway, I like both cars because of their differences. I know people who own both cars and I think the Porsches are a little more reliable. Those are some mean lil 6 cyl.

both cars are really good built cars for speed and performance but i would rather pick the vette over the turbo just because its an american car...but to tell the truth iam really a ford guy.

I would much rather have a turbo than a vette, especially the new ones, i cant believe the roofsd fall off the new Z06, that's pathetic.. Shows the kind of quality control Chevy really has.. And all you idiots say "put a supercharger on the vette and it'll smoke it" well no crap, but it also wont be under warranty anymore, while the turbo still is. And even if the vette had a supercharger, all you need is the x50 package that comes stock on some turbos, exhaust and chip, put a little 100oct. in it and it'll beat the supercharged vette and still be under warranty.. Face it chevy nut swingers, the vette isnt the ultimate car, sorry.

Dollar for Dollar? Joking right? A Zo6 is the best bang for buck in it's class. Get your facts straight.

Porsches are the everyday sports car, always impressive out of the box and serious business when modified. In that you can buy one as a daily driver and not worry about the maintenance eating you alive. Vettes i'd argue are decent, but i'm not a fan of domestics for one simple reason - build qual ity. Other than that the LS platform has been a stout performer for years. Again though, i'd have to hand it off to the porsches. Dollar for dollar their far and above the Corvette, even a Z06.
