They are talking about the base V8 being the LS2 rated at 400hp. I dont know what the guy in the las couple of post was talke about, "capable of 800". To mr fordmaniac. HAHAHA. Why compare the Camaro to the "super" mustang? I was out at the track, and a base model Corvette smoked a gt500. Besides, they are talking about offering an upgraded version, maybe a detuned LS7 or LS9. That would definetly smoked your precious gt500.

You're comparing a the Camaro to a car that's being sold at 2x it's price point. 1. That Camaro will wipe it's balls with that Mustang you have in your sig and..2. For the price of a GT500 you can get a Z06 and we've all already seen what a Z06 does to mustangs.

That thing can't touch a GT 500.
