the bad thing about the ls7 is its cylinder walls are so freaken thin, its a small block pushed to the max. its a great motor but when it comes to power adders, or boost it can blow if u dont know what your doing.

its was not the spray that killed it...the dyno let go....all resistance in the drums stopped...but now that thing is sicker than ever

so sad but dose the dyno shop have to pay for the pistons and burned valves and head work re-sleaving ect. or did the driver sign a stupid waiver???

I would have to say that there can be some stupid people on here. The guy explained what happened and no one really believed him. The dyno glitched when the guy was hitting the NO2. The fuel pooling and causing it to lean out....You guys are stupid who don't understand that. It pooled and went to some of the cylinders, but there was the other ones that got leaned out; because they didn't get enough fuel. This is a V-8 car that means 8 cylinders. (sorry have to hold some of these kids hands around here)

I used to use a dry fogger on my 5.0 when I was in high school. All I had to was put a better fuel pump, and the __NO2__ kit on and it was done in less than 12hrs. I ran a 125hp shot and had it on there for a long time.I hung with (nose to nose he wasn't pulling me at all) my buddies 5.0 HCI motor that ran a 12.7in the 1/4mi. Not a bad upgrade for less than $700 . My Transmission did blow up. NOt when I was spraying either, but it was a junkyard swap (AT-5sp conversion) that had 168,000mi. already on it. So I don't attribute most of the blame on NO2 I would say it's more like a 16yr. old kid driving hard, and missing a shift or two. That was no big expense to fix that though (T-5's are a dime a dozen).

Anyway like people said B4 it how you do the NO2 set up, and how much. My orignal engine in my POS 5.0 that I had ran atleast 20-15lb. bottles through over time. Still runs awsome at 211,000miles on the odometer.
