I can see the use of paddle shifting for auto-cross, but for the strip.. I just wouldn't be able to stand it.. Yeah, it's consistent, but it takes the driver error out of the equation and that's what's makes racing great, the driver vs. driver aspect. Hell, even my wife could hop in a 400HP automatic and run good times.. and she can't drive at all.
