Not impossible for an inline 4, just not practical cause they all come off the same side. But you could definitely do a 4-2 exhaust setup with a X pipe

clean install, well done. IMO, the tips need to be set inward at least another half inch. sounds ok. get a clip ripping through gears from a dig with the windows down. cars sound so much different when the motor is under a load. that rev was a tad wimpy.
