I think that C5 Z06 had more done to it. I owned a Z06 with exhaust and got walked pretty bad by a 470rwhp 03 cobra. When we went to the track, my MPH was 114 and the cobras was a best of 122. With an extra 120rwhp, the cobra will pull harder despite weight and drag. Its not THAT much heavier...

a8955f87- Believe it. Here is why. For one you are comparing 1/4 mile times. Those races being roll races up to and probably over 140 you must take drag and wt into consideration. The Vette depending on the type of intake and CAI will run with the Cobra with those mods no problem- especially over 130+. The Cobra is a pig and weighs at least 750 lbs more than the Vette. So you take higher speeds, similar RWHP, lower weight, better drag co-effecient and you get what you saw in the video. This is why it takes a 550+RWHP Terminator to run with a STOCK C6Z06. Pretty simple really.

Your telling me a freakin c5 z06 with only a intake and catback is going to pull or run that hard againts a bolt on PORTED EATON COBRA??? come on now.

My 03 cobra with a catback only ran a 12.3 at 115mph with a 1.97 60 ft with 2,000 miles on the car, stock f1 tires, stock shifter, stock throttle body, stock supercharger, stock boost, stock heads cams stock suspension, stock IRS.

what does a z06 with a catback cold air run? about the same right??

Now here you have a bolt on cobra, im assuming its a upper /lower ported eaton cobra with all the bolt ons right? a ported eaton cobra with a upper lower tune and what not, with full weight, will run anywhere from 10.90's to 11.3's depending on driver.

I understand anything can happen on the street, but this was from a roll and looked liked the drivers did well and nothing happened.

so now a low 12 second z06 is going to pull a high 10 low low LOW 11 second cobra from a roll?? noway

that vett looks a bit sketchy to me, first time evo is on spray the vett pulls top end but the last couple races the evo pulls away top end? kinda seems like the vett is on juice to me but thats just my assumption.

built, of coarse. it's a 2litre vs. a 6litre. killing a vette is an acomplishment no matter what you drive. props to all.

i gotta love vette for hanging with the cars that had more mods to it but even cobra had little mods only boltons as for evo fully built nice rides all ware fast
