andy frosts car runs a big block chevy and is fully street legal here in the UK. andys car is running 7.8 182+ on pump gas, street legal tyres and no nos. yes its assisted by two turbos. this supra looks to be running on slicks, and doesnt look road legal to me, aswell as running with nos and turbos.
v8 power all the way!!

Fastest one I can seem to find runs a "Microlon supplied Metal Treatment for the engine, fuel system, and transmission were added and she finally came to life." - SSC Racing, World's Quickest Honda Civic On Gas 8.87 @ 168.58 MPH"
http://microlonjohn.com/testimonial.html
Seems a little far off from 7.9 @ 188 mph but id like to see if you know of some faster ones past up the link.

This is definitely not street legal. Plus, it has a wheelie bar. These cars are in completely different classes. One is an unlightened, rwd, stock body, non tubular, no wheelie bar car while the other is the fwd drag spec dcr with a full drag only suspension set up

They are probably making not far from each other on horsepower but I have seen that viper it just takes of like a jet like no spinning at all.

435 lbs of stress are put on each piston @ 20 psig/34.7 psia before the 9.6 to 1 static compression ratio of the power stroke. So thats a bit of stress however the supra @ 40 psig/psia has 493 lbs of stress on each piston before the static compression ratio power stroke of 8.5 to 1 for stock compression ratios. With the difference in static compression ratios it comes out to within .05% of each other on stress on the motor....All this takes into accout stoke compression is used with stock pistons I doubt the viper is actually doing that I dont know about the supra they are suppose to be able to take 900 whp....I think this one is making more though.
