THE STOCK BLOCK ON MY CAR BLEW UP LAST YEAR!! that is why the bottom end is built.carillo h-beam rods, cp 100mm pistons, acl bearings, arp head bolts, stock subaru gaskets. the fp green is a 3" inlet, 8cm exhaust housing which has been ported. has gtspec unequal length headers/uppipe. helix ceramic coated 3" catless downpipe to the stock catback. 22psi on pump through the stock topmount.

I own an STi, and this mod list makes no sense. An FP green was a big turbo for the old 2.0 liter wrx, but on an STi you want to use the FP Red. Second, you don't need to build any of the bottom end, just get an FP red, fuel pump, FMIC , TBE and a tune. 3rd, the stock cat back is a choke point for the STi because of the small piping. You should be running at LEAST a bigger TMIC and a new CBE. If you say you have the stock DP, I will take your car away.

Why modify the bottom end, you should be modifying the turbo and bpu's? Bottom end is one of the last things to do to an sti besides the gears.

hmmmm.....a built bottom end but still running the stock clutch and catback that is dumb and why have a built end when your running a fpgreen, stock clutch and catback lol. I know some STi owners who say they have "Built bottomend" when really they have just drop-in piston and rod. Plus all that money for a "built motor" and upgraded turbo and that Evo is right there with you boggles my mind why ppl buy STi's when you can just get an evo. Don't get me wrong I love STi's but if your going to mod it just get an EVO.

Why in the world would you build the bottom end for the FPgreen when 1. You don't have to and 2. You still have the stock catback and intercooler (can you spell heat soak?). Just seems to me like those would be no brainers to swap out first.

bottom end is built... has an FP Green on it (its my car).. running on pump 93 through the stock topmount intercooler @ 22psi (car made 366hp/364tq on a low reading mustang dyno)... the evo is quick but theres more to the story.. im running on the stock clutch which is slipping badly in 4th/5th/6th, and through the stock catback... i change those out and its a much uglier race.
