I've got a 93 jimmy 245,000 miles and a 4.3 tbi with a straight pipe and a dynomax muffler and it still made a noticable amount of horsepower

Dam I feel bad for that second gear! Although I shouldn't be one to talk, I had my 92 TBI Blazer up to 48 in 1st....Normally shifts out at 34ish so I was a wee bit past redline, valves were floating like crazy.

its a 4.3L CPI and no i dont have any trouble with cops i have a flowmaster 40 series on it just thought ide make a clip with out it on i may post one with it soon

yea i know a guy running straight pipes on his v6 ranger. it doesnt sound quite as nasty as you think it would, but i prefer some good magnaflows or dynomax mufflers. i had a chevy with a 4.3 and a dynomax super turbo. didnt sound as good as a v8, but didnt sound too bad if i say so myself. ever have any problems with the cops?
