i loved the "Chrysler brought a coloring book and crayons to an open book test" hilarious....chrysler is going, going, and pretty soon, gone. I also agree with the fact that congress dosent know shit about automobiles or the automobile industry. Their setting some pretty rediculous standards for the auto industry, and then they add even more rediculous time constraints to that. the not-so-big-3 of course are gonna promise to do all these things to get the money, but in reality their like little kids, making promises with no intentions of keeping them, just to get some candy. Congress wants hybrid eletric vehicles to replace fossil fuel powered cars, but yet like Matt said, they still require gasoline to run, and the factories that produce the batteries required for these cars will cause more pollution than the current factories do. Recently, topgear did a MPG test with a Prius and a BMW M3, and at 70 mph. the M3 got better fuel economy than the Prius. Heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7yKOJXfpDA . we r not even at seven billion people, America has enough resources to last for MANY years to come yet we do know use them because stupid liberal(sry for being redundant) environmentalists wont let us, and it costs more to produce these new vehicles than the money they hope to bring in(VW losts more than 4 million per veyron while they sell them for 1.6?). this big of a change is too fast. thats how we got to this problem in the first place. America is too liberal and this crap is what happens

eldergolfer21 we have to make some kind of attempt on spending less energy because we can not procure it at the needed amount, and this at the same time we are reaching a 10 billion plus population in the world this is a very significant number being that we all need to live in the same planet using very limited resources.
