$10k for a built engine is cheap, look around and you'll find that a truely built chevy engine will run you around 18-26k.

Because they are slow... you can't say a car is fast just based on HP and T orque... mustangs are kinda heavy... A Louts Elise can do 0-60 in 4.3 seco nds with a 170 HP toyota 4 cyl engine.... It weighs 2000 lbs....

Believe it or not those bugs get more respect than a mustang does. When I drive mine down the street people stop and stare, even the snooty vette dr ivers. Most even let me go first. I got more thumbs up driving my old 71 Super Beetle than I ever did driving my 92 Jeep. People would honk and w ave or stop and ask questions like "What year is it?" "How many miles does the engine have?" or "How much do you want for i t?" There are mustangs all over the world. So much that now they've resorted to being every woman's grocery getter. A VW, well you'd be luck y if you even saw one going down the street anymore.

The bug might of won but I would be embarrased to be seen in that thing. Th e driver might as well say hes from San Francisco. If both were stock, the Mustang would of won hands down so whats the point? Bugs are better? Plea se.
