If you closely the clip in the end of the film, when he supposedly runs out of gas, is the exact same clip from when the driver does the u-turn on the highway, just slowed down to give the impression he gave up. Check the background, there is a sign on the left of the road a few hundred feet up the road, with a cop car and some tall obstruction in the background behind the cop car. The entire background, plus camera angle from a Z28 being identical to an earlier clip in the film, yeah sure you caught the driver? Where are the shots of the car actually stopped with a cop standing beside it? HA, nice getaway, wish we had more police footage of them loosing a chase.. It happens all the time, we just don't typically get the great footage put on the air..
