Wow the guys below me is obviuosly a major "Crowd follower". The very lame word "ricer" was invented by closed minded idiot's who could'nt stand that a 4cyl engine could stomp on thier overhyped v8 provided that that little 4cyl was tuned properly and driven the same. As i come to understand where the time's have changed the meaning of "ricer" to sugest that a come from "usa, japan, ect. ect." can and will be distastefully modded to the point where not only is that certain vehicle "poseing" as a fast car but look's visually unappealing as well. To me and i would like to think a lot of other ppl on streetfire are coming to realize that ppl who throw around the term so carelessly without considering the true meaning of it, and it's use is inhis or herself a "ricer" in a sense that they are "poseing" or "Acting" like they know what the !@#$ they are talking about. A fast car is a fast car, no matter what it might be, or where its from. It's called RESPECT. I don't think anyone here would own one if the import tax was the same as what we pay to have cars imported over there. My Brother is in the USAF and lived in Japan for two years. He said he couldn't afford an American car while he was there, yet here you can buy a car like yours for very little cash all day long. Sorry if you don't like being called a ricer, its not you but rather what you drive. I will say that My dad was racing at Lapeer dragway since 1969 and in 1971 ran IHRA factory B-stock. He ran 12.01 in B-Stock trim in a 1969 SS Nova. He also see's that Lapeer has more imports now and the really fast ( again no offense intended ) I mean fast as in 10.50 or better will drive to Milan and avoid that dump.
