Presumably though, in the UK, our speed hill climb goulds are faster, its just that the french "course de cote" (thanks Zäa) are much faster? Word is that the most powerful turbo cars put out 650bhp and can't weigh a whole lot more.

ughh that's insane, and its not f1, f3000 was a tier below F1, F1 cars don't look that fast on tv but i guess that's because of the wide tracks they race on creating that illusion.

if i had been driving at the point when the back end kicked out, i would be dead. he had like one hundredth of a second to correct the slide. i dont have the reaction time or skill to do something like that at the speeds he was going.

This is not a F1 but a F3000, it race on " hill climb " in france ( its called course de cote in french ).
