i live in a country where we allmost all drive turbo diesels (Belgium).Will you guys finally stop saying soot "isn't that bad" ?The nano-particulates in the soot are lung-cancer cocktail AND the stuff will stick to anything. It's better for the environment in the sense that less greenhouse gas is emitted but it is much worse for you directly as a person than a traditional gasoline engine since gas rises. Soot fails and stays there until you breathe it in.THAT is why we now have particulate filters on all diesel cars.
