@Fugitive12: I don't think anyone would argue with you on that, but the point blakiron was making is still valid. These engines are used for more than Time Attack, in fact it could be argued that AMS built their reputation in drag racing, where ~1000bhp 4G63s are not uncommon.

In this kind of racing 1000 horse power would be to much. In road racing you have sustained levels of really high RPM's. Just the heat that kind of power would produce would shorten the life of the engine dramatically not mention be very difficult to get to the pavement.

nice video except the part about the ten engine being as good or better than the evo 9 engine. when the evo 10 makes 1000hp then you can claim it is just as good or better than the evo 9 engine..........
