That shifter looks to about ready to snap off after that sort of shifting. I always wondered how people could snap off a shifter, now I know. Note - it goes into gear softly just as good as wacking it in. If you look into t he guts of a transmission you'd never want to shift like that again. While the shift forks may be aluminum, you're bound to damage something if you keep that up. I mean, unless you want to rebuild your tranny anytime soon. Take it easy.
