I have a 2005 CTS-V. For 2005 the CTS-V has an LS6 with 5.7 Liters making 400 hp. Check out cadillacfaq.com. The Cadillac website does not tell you what the CTS-V had in 2005.

Why are people so stupid?

There are "rumors" of the '09 Vs coming with a supercharged 7 liter(ls7??) producing ~580HP

The LS7 is in the Z06. If the CTS had the LS7 in it it would be over 54K and have more than 400HP. Try going to the Cadillac website, it has the LS2 in it, unless they did an engine swap which would be pretty awesome.
