Lol, thats Chevy for ya. Anyway, you have a nice, if common, machine. Now, not being a dick, I would give this advice to anyone in the same position, and have, but you have that typical Edelbrock "Tru Flo" air cleaner. Take a look at it closely, what do you see? A LOT of chromed metal covering up the filter element. The same thing air trying to get INTO it sees. It is WELL worth getting at LEAST a triangular cleaner that has an actual sandwich, paper filter with it. The increase in air flow and resultant power will be UNmistakeable. If you can make it fit, invest in the typical 14 X ? circular cleaner. The K
