i'd idle it at 650, like most of my cars, 1000 sounds weak. But your get bored of the Lt4 cam. i say screw the baby cams and go for the big ones if you have your heads ported do it.

The reason it was untuned was because the PCM was on the way. Got it today, put it in. Idles right at 1000 rpms, no SES light, and still sounds awesome. Thanks for the replies!
