agreed with james, i actually ran one of these not too long ago in my stock z and won by about 2 car lengths...i dunno, actually the only model cobra ive lost to in my z was an 03 model and no i didnt think id win i just wanted to see how powerful those beasts were, very imporessive. but that was before i had a Z1Motorsports overhaul. :-)

that cobra is running a lot more then a 100 shot. the 97 cobra was barely as fast stock as a stock 350z. sorry this doesn't seem real.

ur both idiots..

the 4.6L's with PI heads are great motors

the 350Z is pushin 300hp stock

cobra 260hp stock

and the 4.6 is a DOHC motor so its not really 40 years old..

good race between the two. i own a 350 z personally but i will admit that the cobra had an upperhand on the Z! as far as people like f0e3a425 are concerned; they bash jap cars but do not realize that more and more plants are opened up in the u.s. every year to build japanese cars. so in turn these cars are responsible for many blue-collared workers putting food on their tables!
