it's still around, sc'd for now. Maybe someday after I finish my rx-7 I'll get around to making the balt fast again

That is too bad that you parted it out. Your car has been the motivation for me to build mine. It kind of feels like one of my role models has just died! :( At least I have hope that your car will "rise again". :)

Do you still have all of the parts for the Cobalt? How much would you sell the car for if you put the built motor back together with aftermarket cylinder sleeves?

yeah cyl 1 sleeve split in 3 places. getting another stock motor, s/c and nitrous for now. Finishing up the rx-7 before I do anything else with the balt

So it blew up with the built motor? I am guessing that the stock cylinder walls failed. Are you going to rebuild it again?

it had a full cnc ported race head, 78lb valve springs, Ti retainers, .5mm oversized valves, stainless intake iconel exhaustplus a built bottom end with stock sleeves (was the downfall on 27psi). had Pauter billet rods, Diamond pistons, nuetral balance shafts, knife edged block, car was a beast til it blew up a few weeks ago.
