They're only using around 10500 rpm with this motor. They know it is capable of at least 17000 rpm. Power can still be made to what they say 700 hp. :O

Runs the V8 and has over 1000 bhp -per-tonne power-to-weight ratio! Hit's 60mph in 2.5 seconds is an amazing piece of kit, perfect for track junkies.

The T1 will be available in America. Caparo has already set up a dealer. I cannot remember the name of the dealer but it is located in Georgia. Unfortunately, the dealer has said it is doubtful the T1 will be street legal in the U.S. Too many restrictions and jurisdictions. They are going to focus on track day participants and corporate outings. Also, a possible racing series is being considered.
