I'm not sure I totally understand your statement though.... However, my mods in this video are as follows: short throw shifter, cone filters on the intake, no cat's with Dynomax Mufflers. I also had a shorter belt on the motor, bypassing the A/C pully. Plus, like I was saying... I was shifting way too high, over 500RPMs too high, so I was out of my power band and losing horsepower at the top end. These cars stock run 12.9 according to Dodge and all the magazine tests and thats pretty average for a stock Gen I RT/10, although I have heard of alot of people running low 13's in a stock RT/10(typically a beginer drag racer) and also breaking 11's (REALLY good driver with perfect track conditions). There are more reports of drivers breaking 11's on stock Gen II GTS Vipers, but the GTS has about 50 more horsepower on the motor from the factory. 12's is NOT far from stock... Vipers are 12 second cars and faster stock, but sometimes the drivers are new and learning is all.

i cut 1.8 60's on my crappy sumitomo 245 50 16 street tires and ran a 12.5 @ 111mph with some bolt ons. . with my LS6 intake, tune and DR's, i should be really close to high 11s.
