dude the guy dyno-ing my car didnt believe it either, he said it was one of the most powerful near stock 350s hes ever run! 600 cfm carb, 1 1/2 primaries, 2 1/2 exhaust, performer rpm, mild cam, pump gas, even stock iron heads, although the casting # says they could either be 350 or 400 heads, but stock iron heads, idle @600 cold, 750 warm, th350, 10 bolt, and it certainly feels like its all there when i step on it! i really dont know how to prove it i dont have a camcorder to make a vid of it, but its true!

i dont beleive you made 360 rwhp with a stock 350 with a mild cam. maybe if it was stock with 12.1 compression, stock with 2.05" intake valves, stock with a big 4 barrel, and race gas.

I too will be interested to see how well that carb works out for you, but sounds like you are on target for size. Nice cam size, I too would like to see more vids.

u not losing any with 1 5/8 on a NA 383, in fact u probably gaining due to increased exhaust gas velocity = more combustion chamber scavenging. i made 360 rwhp(dynojet) on a stock 350(mild cam) with 1 1/2 primaries!

Because someone wanted a video and sound of the exhaust at cruising speed, and I cant use 1 3/4 primary as, hooker is the only company that makes them and they hang too low. The car is lowered with Eibach pro-kit so that isnt an option. The collectors would hit the ground.

Why didn't you get on it at all? You'd probably gain some by going with a 1 3/4 primary.

Around 900-1000 right now havnt really got to dial the carb in, but it seems to like it.
