theirs this one guy here in dallas that goes to the street races w/ a lt1 that changed the front clip to a newer camaro, when i beat it i was was thinking that i tore up an ls1 but he busted my bubble when he opened the hood to see a lt1, so maybe that's what happened here!

You can tell what motor it has by looking at the headlights LT1's have 4 small1s, and LS1 got 2 big1s.

I have both cars except mine is 1999 LS1 Trans/Am & 1990 300ZXTT. LS1 Z28 have a different headlight & front than the LT1 Z28. The Z28 on the video is LS1. Second a 300ZXTT is a 300HP car. The stock injectors and turbos are good for 400+rwhp but thats pushing it to the limit. With stock turbos & injectors it can run 10's in the 1/4 mile with good tunning. You want proof here you go www.z32racing.com If the Z28 is stock then thats explains it. Both cars are almost the same in weight and power (stock) except the Z28 would have put up a good fight from a stop. The Z28 has the advantage from a 1/4 due to its suspension & rear end setup. The 300ZX has an anti squat design suspension & Hicas system which is a disadvantage from a 1/4.

HOW DOES ANYONE KNOW IT'S AN LS1? If the year is unknown, it could be an LT1, which is an entirely different story.

Awesome, post that dyno sheet :D. Might be close to stock turbo record without nitrous. Boooo for the front mount :P. Z's run hot as it is without blocking your radiator ;). I've got my plenum off and wish I could afford 555's and a reflash but alas, college is expensive. And the record for stock internals for a Z is 749rwhp or something in that ballpark. was spraying n2o through their frontmount but still, not bad for early 90's technology.

and last to 953326 i do have upgraded intercooler a front mount actually and 555cc injectors nothing more on 100 octane 425/477 torque ill post a vid of my dyno sheet so you can drool over it :)

yeah those are ok dyno numbers but as you know turbo cars are very restrictive systems free up that energy and buh bye camaro 300zxs have know to hit over 600 rwhp with bolt ons alone no heads, no pistons, no internal upgrades try that with your ls1 dont believe go to z32power.com and find out for yourself

I've seen 2 dyno's from stock 1992 300ZX's TT the lowest made 243.7rwhp 261.6ft-tq and the best was 249.6rwhp and 266.3ft-tq and weight 3312 lbs.
Thats 13.26 weight/whp.

Pretty darn nice for a 15 year old car but still not in the 98-02 z28 power to weight ratio if the car is running like it should.

You have to have more mods on that 300 then listed, or there is something wrong with that LS1. No offence, other then that congrats on the win.
