850 never took cruise control off, it wouldn't have been a race if he hit t he gas.

Vovlvo couldnt have been racing. It had the 850 Turbo (or T5 as the S70's are called now) wheels..And those things pull hard. I raced one in my S70 GLT and got wasted. And I've definately beat a few civics in my GLT. Therefore, 850 Turbo>Teen Rice's Civic.

Ha, i remember racing against a honda integra with my Volvo 850 t urbo! he was at my school, lookin' all though, soo i decided to race him o ut on the streets durning lunch..Everyone was out watching sayin' volvo c ant do anything! But i showed 'em what there really about. as i floored i t, the guy was like 30 yards behind me..haha, If you no what your doin' w ith your car, you can beat just about anyone. With racing stock, i was ra cing a 87' mustang! but i was having coolant problems, soo i didnt want to force it. but i was close to win by 2-3 feet..haha!

yyyyyyeah. Volvo T-5 wagon --- 222 horsepower?? its either that or 240, but i think 240 is the R. No way a stock civic could take a T-5 down that easy

What was that all about? That Volvo 850 didn't even seem to race that Honda ... This was a biased street race.
