No, non SQ Vortechs sound like that. This is after the blower was rebuilt.

Kind of a long story. Motor had a cheap typhoon intake, blower bearing going out with the impeller touching the horn, and 1 5/8 primary shorties that were nowhere near as big as my exhaust ports and it laid down 420rwhp 400lbft with intake temps at 170 degrees due to the blower needing a rebuild and not having any type of intercooling. I now have 1 3/4 headers, the Downs box intake is port matched to my heads, and Im adding water/methanol. When the water methanol is on Ill have it retuned. Hoping for around 500rwhp. After that, I have two smaller pulleys for the blower but will be needing a fuel system.
