I sold it to Ajoy, just as you see it in the video. He kept it for a year or so, then sold it to a gentlemen in Florida. I found this out when I talked to the current owner at the 2006 Buick Nationals, where he was racing the car (and still running 9's). Small world.

Does Ajoy Kapila own this car now.. i almost bought it from him a year ago for 30 g's.. he couldnt tune it cause he told me it only was running on about 19 er 20 pounds of boost and probably would on run 11's maybe. u still tune buicks?

A lot of people find it hard to believe a V6 can potentially make that kind of power. I don't!

The car was actually quite a bit faster than the times showed. It still had the factory stock 120k mile rear end, and a column shift 2004r OD Trans. So I could only leave on the foot brake (meaning I didn't get up to full boost until around the 60ft mark). On it's best pass ever, the car only ran 110mph in the 1/8, but went 142mph in the 1/4. Picking up 32mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4, gives a good idea of how much more it had in it. At least the guy who owns it now gets to enjoy it.... :(

I think I miss this car more than any other car I've ever owned. Talk about the best of everything...seats 5 VERY COMFORTABLY, 30mpg, 9 second 1/4 miles at 140+, and believe it or not, I used to spank near-stock Hayabusa's on the street with it.
