I believe the opti-spark was on it's way. Too much experience with these cars, definitely foul spark distribution especially on launch. When you swap, go with an upgraded unit like an Accel or MSD Billet, and not OEM-replacement, not even Summit's replacement which is basically OEM with improved Cap & Rotor.

8.6et 1/8th mile track. 94 Camaro 150,000 miles on motor,...LT1, Long tube headers, custom exhaust, bolt ons, turbo 400 transmission, 3.42 gears, needs new distributer, and a 2,800 to 3,000 stall. Future mods include all forged bottom end 396 LT1 short block and around 100 to 175hp shot. The gay music was on the tracks loud speaker, not my idea of good track music the DJ needs to be fired,....lol. The excessive burnout was to clear my head of the gay music,....LMAO.
