Love your car! If I ever build another mustang it will be a 67 fastback. My brother has a 69 mach 1 and it's sweet and all but the 67 is really nice once it turns into a restomod. Congrats!

It would have been better if it was the 428 COBRA JET under the hood. BUT still a nice RIDE. TO bad the king cobra of the early 70's was not popular. king cobra, most underated mustang of all time.

sorry air to fuel ratio is stoich.....Also if anyone wants to say well NASCAR uses it could you imagine trying to change out a F/I motor in 30 minutes....

I'm not really following the whole carb deal but hey.....All I know is 14.7 to 1 air ratio is stoich and thats a lot easier to get computer controlled...On N/A I dont see how you would get any more power out of it......It takes air.... fuel... and ignition for power How you get the air doesnt matter as long as the CFM were the same and the A/F ratio were the same F/I or Carbed doesnt matter.....Carbed is obviously cheaper though but I bet re jetting those things for a perfect 14.7 is da*n near impossible...

here just so you can see what kind of cars I've been around, and am not a tard I posted a short clip of my old man's race car starting up, and idling. The vid is lame compared to yours, but you should get the idea. Don't hate the car took forever to start cause it's a high compression race motor that's been sitting for 6 months. (hence you can see the battery charger in the vid.) Think before you speek buddy. I'll post a vid of the 5.0 when it's done.....

First off bro chill out..... Seems you're the one that needs a hobby this will be my second post on this vid (ones that know me would say that I have too many hobbies lol). I wasn't trying to get your panties in a bunch I was just wondering how you pulled that kind of power out of a 306ci. You broke it down, and I will wait to see the dyno vid, and have (c) none of the above reactions. I will be like okay this guy isn't talking out his aRse, and be like f***ing sweet it can be done. I like your car, so don't think I'm a hater.
I'm 22yrs old like yourself, and have been driving 5.0's since I was 16. I grew up with my old man road racing his '65 Terlingua(I think that's how you spell it) race team mustang(321 ci. ORIGINAL GT-40 cast iron heads 498hp @ the crank Built by Don Roberts...if you don't know who that is then you need to find out.) I'm not an idiot I have love stangs ford is in my blood. I think yes I do know what I'm talking about.
Don't think I didn't bust my a** to build my engine either bro. 331 stroker (spins 6,500rpm) AFR 185cc heads manley race vavles, shaft mount roller rockers, comp cams beehive springs, x303cam(hey look same as you:) ), 30lb. injectors, fuel rails, twEECer engine management, Tremec 3550, billet flywheel. Maximum Motorsports road racing suspension...and so on...
I was just amazed at those horsepower number(with those heads on a 306ci), but I guess you're right carbs do make a big difference on N/a motors, and like I said you broke it down for me, and I see okay that's feezable. read them posts I'm abviously not the only one that's amazed. I would have done a carbed motor too, but I guess I'm just lazy and rather tune w/ a keyboard, not screw drivers. :)
