I really wish I could but I need a more fuel efficient car instead. I have a 79 pace car so I think I'll be OK....ha.

nice car but 10 does seem high.....I just bought a 85gt roller for 500, 100% rust free and have 10K in it, but it is a every-nut-and-bolt restoration, with blower, etc.....

Mustang8573, you are right to an extent. Foxbody rollers 5.0 or 2.3liter usually go for $500 - 2000 on a good day. I included a GT40 longblock for the newbs out there that want to go fast now instead of putting in the sweat to look for a nicely built shortblock w/ forged internals. Either way, the cost should run around $5 grand depending upon piston/ heads setup compression ratio in conjunction w/ boost. Add another $4 grand for a reputable S/C or turbo system + predator or SCT tune = 1 fast stang. I wasn't in anyway putting your ride down. You've put a lot of TLC into your car which justifies the asking price of your nice Mustang. In today's market however, it just doesn't seem feasible to spend that much for a 300rwhp stang.

What are you talking about?

Roller: 2 - 6K depending on what the car has done to it. If I were turn my car into a roller it would probably go for around 4 or 5K. GT40 motors new are around 3500 and a TT kit plus tune...you're looking around 4K. So in one hand you're right.....

I'd be happy with 10K for the car, I;m just looking to not take a hugs loss on the car..I see your poing though.
