Actually the 2wd SS is a tad slower than the AWD SS 0-60 and 1/4mile, SS times range from 14.8-15.5, they don't do 14.50 stock. The 07+ Titan's are a little quicker than previous models since the VVT on the intake side. A KC XE 2x4 Titan w/BT vs. SSS will be a closer race than you would like to believe. You can still offroad it, tow 9500lbs., pay low $20k for it, and be right there in a race with a SSS.

i dont kow what to tell you but that vortex max cant hang. not talking smack or anything but its the truth. i know the titan aint all that, but you just dont realize the power of one till you drive one. and i dont know what is done to the ss to run that fast but its not a normal setup.

dude the awd silverado SS has ran 14.8 bone stock with 345hp.thats ext. cab and awd.a 2wd would run 14.50's stock.the titan is nothing special

even the new vortex max isnt too faast, i have a new 08 titan and have ran against 2 personally and beat them by 2 trucks. the titans aree just fast stock. put a simple uprev tune and thats it folks, chevy ford and dodge dont want none. they have several guys on my forum that are about to break 13's n/a in titanz

it had the 5.3 too not the vortec max 6.0,even the new 5.3 has 315hp now

I agree. Most GMC truck's with fast times are RC/SB trucks. The point that a crew cab TITAN can run a 14.3 with 3 simple mods is pretty sick.

yeah that gmc was most likely a reg cab too, not a 4 door truck. you know just like everyone on here knows that a 4 door gmc is not gonna run a 14.55 with just a tune.

no we're talking about "how awesome the titan is!!11!!!1" but in reality most new trucks are capable of good 14's with minimal mods
